Gioia Bartalo

Gioia was a competition kid and on her high school poms team. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in dance, and was on various hip hop crews throughout college. She has back-up dance experience, and has performed with Michael Franti & Spearhead, Chingy, and local Florida artists. After graduating, she moved out to Denver where she was a Denver Broncos Cheerleader and captain for five seasons! Currently, she owns Summit Studio in Aspen and coaches the Aspen High School Poms. 

Caitlin Fenton

Caitlin is from Castle Rock where she was on the Rock Canyon Varsity Poms team. She then went on to earn a scholarship at University of Memphis as a member of the dance team. She won two National Titles with the team and became team captain. Professionally, she went on to dance for the Memphis Grizzlies for 5 seasons before accepting a job as the University of Denver Dance Coach. Now Cait lives in NYC and works in Brand Partnership Management. 

Keri Atchison

Coach Atchison is a Colorado native, growing up in Littleton.  She attended Heritage High School where she was a Liberty Belle (pom). After graduating, she moved to California for college. She attended Scripps College where she majored in English with a minor in dance. She then attended Claremont Graduate University where she earned her
Masters degree in Education.  After 10 years of teaching and coaching in Southern California, she moved back to Colorado. 

 

Coach Atchison is part of the original staff when Mountain Vista opened and is currently in her 28th year of teaching and coaching. She is the original Pom coach for Vista and has seen great successes for this program. For the past 11 years, Coach Atchison has served as a board member for the Colorado Spirit Coaches Association and the Colorado High School Coaches Association to constantly improve the sport of Spirit.  She has been named Coach of the Year for the
Continental League 6 times and in 2008 was chosen as the Colorado Spirit Coach of the year. She was awarded the prestigious Dale Yost Teacher/Coach of the Year by the Colorado High School Coaches Association.
The Vista Varsity Poms have captured 11 League and 13 Regional titles in Pom, Jazz, and Hip-Hop, as well as 8 5A State titles and four State Runner-ups.  Vista Poms is the only team in the State of Colorado to hold State titles in all 3 dance divisions. Currently, the team attends NDA Nationals where they captured their first National Championship in the Medium Jazz division in 2017.


Coach Atchison loves being able to make a living following her passion. Her goal each year is to push every young dancer who enters the program to graduate as a strong, confident leader in the world.  She gets her support from her team, the parents, the community, and most importantly her amazing family Ron and Britta!

Jana Blue

Jana started dancing in Cherry Creek. She was a studio girl who made the move to dance team in 2009. Jana was a Denver Outlaws dancer, Nuggets Dancer, and Broncos Cheerleader. Since then she has grown her own program in Denver, and worked with countless teams in the area and otherwise. Jana brings a new vibe to every routine and has been breathing life into Choreowire since 2017. When she isn't dancing she is with her growing family!
